The <revised> metadata element is used to maintain tracking dates that are important in a topic development cycle, such as the last modification date, the original availability date, and the expiration date.

The following attributes are available on this element: Universal attribute group, Date attributes group, and the attribute defined below.

@modified (REQUIRED): The last modification date, entered as YYYY-MM-DD, where YYYY is the year, MM is the month from 01 to 12, and DD is the day from 01-31.
